James Luhur, RA

James Luhur, RA began his architecture career in the United States, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree (B.S. Arch.) from The Ohio State University in 1992. In 1994, he further pursued his studies in architecture, and graduated in 1998 with a Master in Architecture degree (M. Arch.) from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, where he was tutored under the distinguished architects Herzog & de Meuron.

During his architectural practice in the United States, he has worked for the eminent architects Peter Eisenman, Skidmore Owings & Merrill/SOM, and the Pritzker laureates Rem Koolhaas/OMA and Richard Meier. From 2000 through 2005, he worked in the New York architectural office of Richard Meier & Partners, playing a key role in several award-winning projects in the United States and Europe. In 2006, he joined Aedas Pte Ltd in Singapore and worked on several exquisite residential projects, including the award-winning condominium 8 Napier, before establishing JL Design with partner Charlene Goh in 2010. James is a registered architect in the State of New York, USA.

Charlene Goh, ARBV

Charlene Goh, ARBV studied architecture in Melbourne, Australia, where she graduated in 2002 with a bachelor of Architecture degree (B. Arch.), and a Bachelor of Planning and Design (Arch.) from the University of Melbourne. Upon her graduation, she worked at the award-winning Melbourne design office of Swaney Draper Pty Ltd from 2003 to 2006. In 2006, she returned to Singapore. In 2010, she established JL Design with partner James Luhur. Charlene is a registered architect in Australia.
